Given the relatively cool first few days of July I wondered if that meant we have over 20C on the 30-day rolling mean again, but not quite... 19.8C up to yesterday.

Highest 30-day rolling mean this summer has been 20.7C from June 18 to July 17. I think that may be a record?

Here are the August predictions and there's a little more spread this month reflecting, perhaps, the greater uncertainty going in to it. As things stand those towards the top of the prediction spread look to do well (again) but it'll be interesting to see how far north the heat gets this month and how much effect it will have on the CET. For John and the Doc's sake (along with the rest of our Scottish contingent) I hope that summer puts in an appearance for you!
