Strictly speaking we only hit 79.9F one day, barring any undiscovered manual stations.

Sunday or Monday I'll commence a new heatwave thread. I've been lumped up by the latest forecast toΒ  30C for Monday and Tuesday.Β  Incredible.Β  After that an easing then back up to 28s and 29s after the 10th August. Definitely heatwave No 5. πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚.

This thread will go to the classics thread as will heatwave No 5 when that eases.Β

I want these here as I feel classic weather events information is valuable and should be available for those who want to use this for research.Β  πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

All good summer in the past had Scotland joined the dry sunny warm weather most times.

Have you all seen the new 'days with heatwave' map for the UK. Very interesting!

Total for most of Scotland = Zero πŸ˜‚

Charlwood much hotter than everywhere else again today. I wonder if when we get the Met Office review of July those Charlwood figures will disappear? That will mean we lose at least one 30C day.
