Hadn't looked at my PWS today, until just now. I knew last night was cooler than of late but didn't realise the low had been down to 7.7c just before 5am.

A blue sky high of 27.3c today.

I said earlier on that there wasn't any rain here, but I can now confirm that the rain has well and truly arrived here in Edinburgh now.

Today's maximum temperature was only a measly 17.21°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank (which isn't even the least bit warm for this time of the year😡) and 18.97°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

Currently around 15°C here in Edinburgh

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

It's 10.22pm, sun set only about 10 or 15 mins ago, and it is almost fully dark. This is very, very odd and it looks closer to midnight than at this time. In fact, I've seen brighter midnights that this.  No incoming storm or anything like that. Just plain weird.

Surprisingly cloudy and breezy after a clear start. Just 22.5C but expected to rise quickly when sun breaks through though I can't see it making forecast 28C.

Cloudy and breezy here, 24.4 and a high of 25.2 so far. There's still a good 4 and a half hours of heating potential left...

Spells of drizzle and cloudy today with more brightness towards East. Only 16.6c at home now but gets warm very quickly as you head east. Car thermometer in Leeds centre showing 22c. Less than 10km away.

The sun's just about to rise here and for once there's a gentle breeze, not that it's very refreshing. 18.0 (which is the low so far), dew 15.3, and it was still 22C at midnight. Yesterday's high was 29.2 and it'll be similar today.
