White Rabbits!!
It's the start of another brand new month which now takes us into the second half of 2026 and into the period which we would regard as being high summer.
According to the 1991-2020 averages, this is our warmest month of the year on average and there has been quite a lot of talk on various other threads on this forum and elsewhere about yet another upcoming heatwave.
That is all a discussion for elsewhere but as far as the discussions for this thread are concerned and in the meantime, last night was slightly cooler than of late with an overnight minimum temperature of 11.56°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and 11.87°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
The month may well have changed, but our weather (or rather, the lack of any actual interesting weather here) hasn't changed and we still have that same old cloud cover and occasional sunny intervals with virtually nothing else happening.
Currently around 17°C here in Edinburgh.
