3.6c currently off a low of 0.8c so missed out on a 2nd frost by a whisker.

More cloud than yesterday but still mostly sunny and a light S/SSW.

Snow cover down to below 70m this morning. We have a cm of frozen snow on some surfaces

Arthur's Seat in the city has a covering, so has Blackford Hill, the Braids and of course The Pentlands (link above)

We had a heavy, wet snow shower yesterday evening and another couple of wet snow showers in the early hours

A minimum of 1 C and clear overhead

There will be a rapid thaw in the next hour

A bright day, 15°C but feeling colder in a light variable breeze. A really nice day - lots of insects about - butterflies, bees, ladybirds. Magnolias coming into flower.

Shame I didn't have time for a run this morning, a perfect still morning with blue skies and chilly here. 3.3c was the low at 4:44am, up to 6.9c now

Well after a sunny clear start, last night's cold front has meandered back north to give a gloomy day. I'm working out in the garden in 12 C but I'm feeling the odd spot of light rain ☹️

My family in Nottingham are enjoying sunshine and 19 C!!

17.3C here in sunny south Dorset. A wind off the sea here helps keep the temps lower than inland. There again, if we enter a spell of light north easterlies and they need to be light, it's possible to enjoy 21C+.  Whilst the east coast gets haar and a chill. Sea fog here arrives with southerlies or from the SW.

The mildest day of the year so far and great to be in the garden! I'd prefer it from now on if we can avoid easterlies at this time of year.

At that time, the Sun was out at times and it was great to see a bit of Sunshine on Leith (to quote that great song by the Proclaimers which is now used as a major Hibs football anthem these days), especially with the forecast of dull weather for today.

Even as I write just now, there is still some blue sky to my north (since I have a good view across to the other side of the Firth of Forth from my flat, I can even see that the Sun is still shining over in Fife as I write), but the dull weather has clearly moved in here now. As a consolation to Jerry though, it is forecast to become sunnier again by Friday after another dull day tomorrow, and it is also expected to warm up again by then as well.

At the moment, I would describe it as fairly mild but not massively warm for this time of the year (this is after all, meant to be a warming time of the year as we head closer towards the coming summer) with a temperature of around 12°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
