Seems to be snowing in the NW. anyone there to report it ???? North Wales to Lancashire have had continuous snow  from tea time yesterday to now, so higher routes must be buried!!!

I never noticed this before in the last 13 years of living here. We have very slight accumulation but the higher points have around 10 to 15cm. I think the Woodhead is at around 1500ft and is very exposed to the wind (drifting snow) and would have been well below freezing.

Dull/overcast. Damp as Andrew Windsor's forehead with 1.6 mm today & 7.0 mm yesterday evening.. 6.3 C & mid-90% H but winds are dead calm so it isn't as raw cold as yesterday.

Pretty intense hail storm just passed through here. Must be  very unstable and cold in the upper atmosphere. Temp dropped from 10c to 7.5c in minutes.

A cloudy 6°C with a moderate SE wind making it feel colder than that.

12C, cloudy. The sun came out briefly mid-morning but quite suddenly the clouds descended on the Downs, cloud base about 200m asl with heavy drizzle. Now a bit drier but still overcast

Very mild with some sunshine this morning, pushing the temperature up to 12.4°C for a time. It was actually the first double figure day since 15 December here, showing that despite the overall mildness, there has been a lack of very mild days this winter.

The rain has unfortunately returned now though, and it's down to 10°C exactly.

13.4c the max today, a few bright spells and the very fleeting glimpse of the sun, conversely some light drizzle through the latter part of the afternoon. Even still, a nice day out in the garden, a t-shirt all day kinda day if you are keeping busy...

Closing, you'll have to post in next weeks' thread (saves me getting up early on a Sunday!).
