My average for the whole of February is 45.5mm   

There was a rumble (just the one) here earlier - coinciding with a brief (very brief) burst of rain. 

Yesterday was the 1st day in 35 days I had no measurable rainfall, equalling my record. I do though count the odd day when a frost thaws and gives you that 0.2mm reading but always have and will - the plants don't care whether its rain or otherwise.

Would have been the blizzard of the century if the temp had been, say, 3C cooler
