A much better start to the day with seeing the sun. It was fine and clear at dawnbreak, now some cloud but still bright. 10.3 C & mid-80% H in light air, hopefully should feel relatively pleasant when I pop out to visit mum at care home later.

Looks like slightly colder air beginning to filter in from the east over Northern and Eastern England. Swanston to my south has dropped 1.5 C since 10am to 2.9 C

I suspect the approaching rain will fall as snow on the Pentlands which are currently clear after Tuesday's snow

Cloudy. Overnight rain gave me another 5.8 mm. Whisker to double figures at 9.9 C & 98% H but isn't feeling that mild in light S breeze.

The bore-fest continues. Saving grace is it isn't blowing a gale.

3.5c with rain. 15mm today. 13mm yesterday.

Cold and wet with hill fog like all of 2026 so far.

It's been so grim , foggy and constantly drizzling or worst here as well are an Eastern upslope, must be what living on the Western Pennines is like most of the year!

Moderate rain, very gloomy - but there were some sunny spells earlier, which was nice. 10.1, dew 9.5, the high today being 11.2. My VP2 has been reporting 100% humidity for much of the day, and indeed the hills a couple of miles away have been shrouded in mist - a typical warm sector feel to things.

A pleasently mild feeling 7.2c with a much lighter wind than recently. Dull & misty but thankfully that chest health destroying dank sting in the air seems to have modified a lot.

Although the rain doesn't look like lasting long but is likely to be overcast for rest of today anyway.
