Usual snow desert here in Richmond. Not even up to a spider's ankles

Beast, you must have some snow in Purley, surely?

Seems our/my next chance saloon for snow is Wednesday as the UK come under a messy slack type set up, hopefully I'll get to see something before the Atlantic come charging in later on in the week.

Well the amber warning was spot on for Moray, 12.30 started heavy snow, has been going since ! Now 23cm and rising . Heaviest snow in this area for a good while. Still just above freezing .

But 4cm last night just up the road from the garden.

Large volumes of traffic especially on A171. Probably caught out by this mostly in past hour.

The higher parts of the Weald around Crowborough Heathfield and Ashdown forest a decent covering maybe 3 or 4 cm in the best spots. Here just north of eastbourne none as with rest of eastbourn none juat a sprinkle on the Downs . A covering further east on the coast tho suprisingly at Bexhill and Hastings
I’ve just been out for a walk with the dog and it is all very pretty at the moment. Not sure what the amber warning period will bring (anything from nothing to loads) but I thought I would take advantage of the break in the showers.
