Looks like 8.3c the final figure

We need the second decimal place to decide the winner though.

Always some luck involved of course. Forecasting experience can potentially land an estimate in right general area, but being within, say, half a degree Celsius comes down to happenstance.

Blimey, that was some good fortune and a half! Cheers 🍻

So now we have December, with a sneaky possibility of a colder interlude, though probably nothing of much note, within a probably milder than average month overall. The sort of month where confidence in the general landing area of the CET isn't too bad, but when aiming to be precise it falls down rather a lot! 😬

You're right goddammit !

They have changed 30th November daily data after the data was published yesterday

was mean 4.8 max 7.9 min 1.6

now mean 6.0 max 10.3 min 1.6

This gives a "new" CET mean of 8.38 to 2 decimals instead of 8.34

Such drama - if my records are correct then I've still got the 2 in a row, but by a whisker! 😬😄

Firstly enormous congratulations to Stormchaser for doing the double - I don't think anyone has won back to back months in the competition before and certainly not with such a tiny margin of error. A virtual bottle of your choice is winging its way to you!

The unusually warm month set the cat amongst the pigeons and really shuffled the leader board up - especially around mid table with Stormchaser rising fast. Can Frank hold on to his seemingly unassailable lead. It's all toom play for in the final month.

Well done SC👏🏻Quite the achievement.

I believe I managed 2 in a row last year too (or was it 3?), but one was by default as I had the highest, or lowest guess and everyone else was too high or too low. This year has been terrible for me though, I'm at the bottom of the table lol 🤣
