Everything taken together, here in Lincolnshire are more good things than man could have had the conscience to ask.

Last night's overnight minimum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank was -5.9°C which makes last night our coldest night of this autumn so far by quite a considerable amount.
Currently around -4°C here in Edinburgh
-0.8, dew -1.8, following an overnight low of -1.6 (which is the coldest so far this season). Yesterday's high was 6.0, but with light winds and plenty of sunshine it felt warmer than that would suggest.
The temperature during the night at Edinburgh Gogargank reached a maximum (yes, that is a MAXIMUM and not a MINIMUM, so that is not a typo and the temperature has actually dropped slightly since then) of 6.5°C which was actually yesterday's official maximum for the entire day.
Yesterday's minimum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank was officially -3.8°C and this means that an official air frost was even recorded once again for yesterday, but that is only due to a temperature which was recorded at 9am GMT (09:00 UTC) yesterday morning which was the start of the official observation day that covers yesterday.
Currently around 5°C here in Edinburgh

It’s a lovely late autumn day here. The sun is shining (and making good work on thawing the snow) and the skies are blue. Apart from treacherous footpaths it was a very pleasant walk just now at 5.0°C but feeling warmer. (The links will load full size images).

A dismal grey day turned wet, and we have had steady light rain all afternoon. I'd guess about 1cm - I'll check the gauge when I got out in about an hour. About 7°C.
