Rather than start a brand new thread for the final winter statistics and since this thread is also a general discussion thread, I thought that it would be a good idea to post my final statistics for the winter on this thread instead.
If you have your final statistics for the winter in your area or wish to give some final thoughts on the winter which has just passed, you can still do that here but for everything else, I have started a brand new thread for this spring which should be used for that purpose instead of this one.

Conclusion
The winter of 2024/25 began with our mildest December since 2015 and although January was colder than average, that ended up being our only colder than average month in a winter which was milder than average overall with a below average number of air frosts, and which was completely snowless here in NW Edinburgh despite the nearby hills getting quite a bit of snow in January with the southern outskirts of Edinburgh getting a little bit of that as well.
It was a drier than average winter overall with all three winter months being drier than average in terms of the actual rainfall amounts. In terms of the number of rain days, the winter of 2025 was also drier than overall but February had a slightly above average number of rain days although it was the only winter month with an above average number of rain days.
Finally, the winter of 2024/25 was duller than average overall with January being the only sunnier than average month, thus following the exact same pattern in that regard as the winter of 2023/24.
