Everything taken together, here in Lincolnshire are more good things than man could have had the conscience to ask.

EDIT: The sun has just broken through. 😁
A couple of degrees lower and it would have ben the coldest night of the year here.
Today is the first day of meteorological spring and here in Edinburgh, this spring has started off with a few bright and sunny intervals at times, but also quite a lot of high to medium level cloud around.
Last night was milder than of late with the minimum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank only down to 3.4°C (even that was recorded just after 9am GMT (09:00 UTC) yesterday morning and just in no more counts as yesterday's official minimum temperature as a result).
Currently around 6°C here in Edinburgh but as I would now much rather be getting on with spring, I'm no longer bothered about it not being cold as was the case just a day or so ago.

While there are some bright breaks amongst the convective looking cumulus streaming in from the North Sea, it isn't feeling quite Spring-like just yet at 6.7 C & high-80% H in a mod NE breeze. Yet it didn't get cold enough for a frost last night with a min of 2.4 C by 6 am.

The high has probably been as there's more cloud around now, top of 11.3c.
