Horrible damp, cold day, has been overcast all day, temperature hasn't risen above 3.9c and now 1.8c, dp sat at 0c. We had icy drizzle earlier so overall a rubbish, miserable grey day that feels colder than it is.

Agree. An atrocious day and when you look at the radar even more so. Where did this lot come from.

There is even a clear curve like a little low might show. Thick drizzle enough for puddles. And cold.

Three degrees C lower and it would be snow or freezing rain. It's less than 3C in any case.

Overcast, with the satellite showing convective cloud "popping up" over Kent. It's surprisingly cold - an air frost, in fact, at -0.1, dew -1.2, with the overnight low so far being -0.2. Yesterday's high was just 3.4, on a par with the recent cold spell and a reminder of just how quickly the European mainland can cool under high pressure.

Another slight frost here, under partly cloudy skies - and that followed another day that was a couple of degrees below average. No rain now for 11 days, but the ground is still muddy underfoot... just goes to show that evaporation is minimal without a breeze!

-0.6, dew -1.4, and the overnight low was also -0.6. Yesterday's high was 5.8 and the low yesterday eventually ended up as -1.1.

It's been a surprisingly cold few days here, under the inversion, but it'll come to a crashing end soon enough as the Atlantic returns...
