Back to dull overcast grey skies again, a bit of a comedown on yesterday's sunny skies. Also a rather chilly 5.5 C & mid 80% H where the light S breeze is just enough to produce a slight wind chill. Daytime temperatures were actually higher than this during the recent cold spell. 🤣
Home location: Folkestone Harbour.

In total contrast to the cold and cloudy conditions further south it's another ridiculously mild January day; 14C, sunny, light winds. I've been out and about without even needing a coat.

Grey, murky, calm, chilly. Yesterday's daytime high was just 4.9, and the temperature's steadily fallen overnight - it's now 3.1, dew 1.8, which is the overnight low so far. It's not meant to get much warmer today, either... it seems the winter chill has returned for a bit!

Dull & clammy making the current 3.3 C & mid 90% H feel raw, but quite calm. Visibility is good at my sea level location but does look more murky over them thar hills.

The max here was also 2.3c, currently 0.9c

A very grey day but with no wind at all it felt fine out sweeping the patio and doing a few jobs after the morning run.
