Happy St. Andrews Day to everyone here on TWO.
It's the final day of meteorological autumn and the meteorological winter starts tomorrow yet there's absolutely nothing cold about our weather just now.😡
This morning has got off to a bright and mostly sunny start with only a few clouds around but unlike last weekend, there's no air frost being recorded this time and we're not even close to getting a ground frost, let alone a ground (there's certainly no snow around this time).😡
Yesterday's official minimum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank was 4.4°C and that was recorded just after 9am GMT (09:00 UTC) yesterday morning.
Yesterday's official maximum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank was 13.1°C and that was recorded in the early hours of this morning when we should be getting our minimum temperature for the day.😡
Meanwhile, the temperature here in Edinburgh is currently at around 12°C so although we haven't had that massive jump in the temperatures in a very short space of time which we had last weekend, the temperatures have still more or less reached that same destination in the end.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
