66mm for the month so far here - neither east or west Kent, but rather north Kent. It's been wet, for sure, but not remarkably so (the 91-20 average for my nearest station, Faversham, is 56mm).
What's been more noteworthy is that most of that rain was in heavy shower form, meaning most of it ended in the drains. That said, the last week has seen some lighter showers too, and the very topmost layer of soil is now mud rather than baked clay. You don't have to go down far to find the hard stuff, though, only a few mm!
