I wonder what Hadley is now. Doesn't surprise me. I had a single figures minimum last night.

The last July CET under 14C was in the 1960s.    🙂

Thought it was interesting at the start of each decade (ie years ending in 0). 1990 broke the spell.

I know this is insane, but is it possible we could have a July colder than June and a June colder than may?

ALso has this ever happened before?

There was another hot spell towards the end of the month that gave August the 18C CET. Sadly I was working except for Thursday 2nd when I went river swimming on my day off. On the Saturday I sat under a rowan tree in my half hour lunch break, feeling the hot wind.

Very annoyed now about that 30.0C we had last month.

If we are on track for a July without 30C (and we might be) it could have been really cool to see a year where 30C was not seen until August.

Atm we've got The Indy forecasting thunderstorms for the UK, whilst the Daily Express says we're about to blasted by a 38c Azores heatwave. Methinks, the truth may lie somewhere in the middle..
