Very sleety/wet snow on my way to work from Poole to Dorchester today around 8am. Car thermometer read 3.5deg most of the way. Max elevation is only around 250ft. A very wet and cold day in store. Very bleak/dreich

An unpleasant afternoon with heavy rain and hail showers.
The top of Allermuir was still streaky white at lunchtime but nothing lower
Metoffice not going for a warning tonight for Devon/Wales. The UKV shows snow only on higher ground but the other high res models show snow widely to lower levels (albeit in that narrow band)
Heavy snow settling. Was snowy early this morning too! ( Gone by 9 am)
