I've just been watching Alex Deakin's latest week ahead forecast on the Met Office's main YouTube channel and if that forecast is correct, that could well be it for our winter by the time that we get to the end of next weekend.

That would be such a shame given this extraordinary spell of weather which we're getting just now but then, that is just the typical nature of the Great British weather and so, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if that ended up being the case.

According to Alex Deakin from the Met Office, it looks as though we will just get rain here on Friday with a temperature of around +4°C, Yuk!!😡

That backs up what I was saying before about winter possibly being over by the end of this weekend because it is now looking increasingly likely that this will actually be the case before then.

just to clarify, was it the forecast for the week ahead or the season ahead ?

And it is now showing 11C (and 13C for Monday!)

That was for the week ahead, but I was only saying that I wouldn't be surprised if winter was over (by that, I'm talking about that being it in terms any actual winter weather for this season, rather than the actual season of winter being over) by the end of that period (perhaps I could have worded that better than saying "could be" but that's all water under a bridge now) and not saying in any way that it actually will be.

Those after all, are two different things.
