I see that the top temp for Monday 18th has been revised upwards to 38.2C at Pitsford, Northants, just beating Santon Downham. Still no data from Denver in Norfolk that I can see, so that may be a wait until 1 August!

Does anyone know what the maximum 500-1000 thickness that was reached during the July heatwave? Were any records broken?

Based on this list that ties or slightly exceeds the record from 2019? https://www.torro.org.uk/extremes/summary

Incidentally the 542 dam on June 30 was one of the 5 lowest ever on that date! https://twitter.com/RoostWeather/status/1542595367874830338

Can a mod move this into the classic threads forum?
