So you wouldn't utilise the empty class rooms that would be available ? Surely to god you aren't going to lob them into one room ????

It was members of your household not family.

To be honest having 3 three year olds in the same room it could be hard to enforce social distancing.

Coronavirus blood-clot mystery intensifies

Research begins to pick apart the mechanisms behind a deadly COVID-19 complication.

Purple rashes, swollen legs, clogged catheters and sudden death — blood clots, large and small, are a frequent complication of COVID-19, and researchers are just beginning to untangle why.

Blood thinners don’t reliably prevent clotting in people with COVID-19, and young people are dying of strokes caused by the blockages in the brain. And many people in hospital have drastically elevated levels of a protein fragment called D-dimer, which is generated when a clot dissolves. High levels of D-dimer appear to be a powerful predictor of mortality in hospitalized patients infected with coronavirus.

Hello Marcus, of course currently around 10 split over 5 classrooms.

Think we will have to see how the next couple of weeks pan out before definite decisions is made on the 2 year groups mentioned, but I would think the numbers would be divided into the number of total classrooms in the school.

not sure how we stand with a covid outbreak within the school or schools as surly it’s a specialist cleaning  job.

I don't think 'enjoyed' quite fits the bill but thanks anyway.

I think the change in exercise advice just opens the door for selfish pillocks to charge through.

We're already seeing further upsurge in cases of horrible scumbags wilfully ignoring the rules on social distancing, whether it's arseholes having VE-Day p*ss-ups, gobshites throwing street or birthday parties, shitheads driving to beaches & beauty spots because they're too special, or sneeringly arrogant second-home owners believing the restrictions don't to apply to wealthy people like them.

From the BBC:

Quote:

  • On Saturday, police in Hackney said they were "fighting a losing battle" as people gathered in parks

  • One driver was fined twice in 10 minutes when stopped while travelling from Edinburgh to Wigan to buy a puppy

  • Officers in Cumbria stopped a man driving from London to Aberdeen to see his cousin

  • The same force also stopped a driver from Essex who had driven to the Lake District

  • Plymouth Police tweeted that in a 24-hour period the Devon and Cornwall force dealt with "over 1023 incidents", mostly "reports of COVID-19 breaches or alcohol related incidents"

  • Dorset Police said it spent hours moving on sunbathers on Highcliffe Beach, including a family who had travelled from Southampton to use a dinghy in the sea

  • On Friday, a street party in Corby involving up to 50 people and a bouncy castle in the street was shut down

Elsewhere, seven people were arrested when police tried to stop a birthday party with about 40 attendees in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

Does it say anything about cafes or restaurants within those organisations, as many are small and excellent breeding grounds.

The big change is the steer for people to go back to work. I realise the adjustment is quite subtle on paper but it could well make a big difference to the infection rate. It's possible to make workplaces safer but virtually impossible to make them "Covid secure". I wouldn't want to go back at the present time. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Meant, Gandalf, in my slackening mental capacity, that it's not great to judge when we don't know how anyone else, given the circumstances, would have done better.

Nothing more sinister.

I wonder if the furloughing bill is proving unpalatable for fiscal right-wingers in the Tory Party.

Problem is, a huge number of people can't go back to work, because their work isn't allowed to open. The bulk of the retail industry, hospitality industry, travel industry... all forced to remain shut (quite rightly). The advice to those unable to work from home has always been that they're alright to go to work.
