Could be an historic day today the first 20c ever recorded in a UK Winter. It's certainly going to get close in Mid Wales and Greater London. If not today then probably tomorrow.

Overnight low was -3C (rounded) here. Wonder how high it can go from such a low start!

Currently 17C here in Manchester which is impressive enough.
Just had a brilliant weekend down in London and it felt more like April than late Feb.
20.3C is only 8C cooler than the highest official maximum record on the 13th of June.
So the highest maximum ever recorded for the meteorological winter, it was only last year we set the lowest maximum ever recorded for the meteorological spring with -4.7C
Upto 18C now which I'm pretty sure is the warmest ever winter day around these parts. It feels amazing!
Edit: Just hit 19C now. Incredible.
I heard it reached 20.3c in West Wales!?This weather is remarkable! It really is. When you think of it a year ago today we were all struggling to get above 0c and today 25.02.19 - we are well into the mid to high teens or in some places low 20's C and it's February! I really think the Met Office forecast has been poor too - no question. Also what strikes me is the fact that they never mention this heat and prolonged warm or record breaking warm weather in their short range forecast let a lone long range and if the Met OFF forecast in early Feb was to be believed - we would be in an easterly, or colder blocked weather by now or would have only seen milder interludes! Well this is a very warm and 'prolonged, milder interlude MET OFFICE. So take note!!
