I have absolutely no idea now, about what it is going to take to get us out of this permacast hell which has now entered his 5th day.
I was hoping that a bit of wind might have shifted all of that cloud. However, the wind has now picked up to such an extent that it was gusting up to 41.6mph from the WSW at Edinburgh Gogarbank at 9am this morning yet even with that, it is still completely overcast.
It is rather damp outside, but just a measly 0.2 mm of rain has been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 9am this morning with the botanic gardens in Edinburgh remaining completely dry so far as at that same time, so there is still nothing which is even remotely interesting in terms of our weather, actually happening just now.
To make matters even worse as well, the temperature just kept on going up during the early hours of this morning, thus bringing us back to that absolute nightmare scenario once again of double figures winter temperatures during the hours of darkness.
Meanwhile, the temperature at 9am this morning was 11.1°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 11°C at Edinburgh Airport and 11.5°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
