I have a bit of a headache from the stress caused by what I was posting in yesterday's CC thread, so please go easy on me (I have taken something for that though, just in case anyone suggests that I should see a doctor).
Anyway, I was hoping that the skies would have cleared after yesterday evening's cold front moved through, but it is still rather cloudy here. In fact, the radar map shows that there is obviously some sort of trough line coming in within the showery air stream behind the main cold front, and that is showing up nicely as a lump of rain that is heading in this direction, which appear to have formed from a number of showers which have clumped together.
In the end, a total of 0.6 mm of rain fell during yesterday at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 0.2 mm at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
Meanwhile, the temperature at midnight was 16.0°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 16°C at Edinburgh Airport and 15.9°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
