But given that you only measure to the nearest 0.1C then surely any average should be quoted to that level of precision as well so that would be 20.0C.

Well as it happens redmoons should be very happy.

My latest calculations indicate that the CET is at 19.23C up to today.

There will be a bit of a dip tomorrow. The latest output suggests a final figure of 19.15C. So we should comfortably finish above 19C.

Well done Redmoons!  It was your month wasn’t it!  Red moon and all, although I didn’t get to see it as it was cloudy.  You had to win it.

When is there a blue moon?

After my average temperature of 20.15c yesterday my monthly average crept up a notch to 19.97c.

Last nights minimum temperature of 15.0c appears to have thwarted my personal 20c challenge sadly.

I would now need a maximum temperature of 26.6c today to achieve it. Given the moderate SW'ly flow off the channel today I'm likely to capped at 23c instead.

Close but no cigar with a month end average here of 19.95c expected instead

Thanks Caz  A drier westerly is blowing warmer air than expected. At noon I'm sitting on 23.0c. (Higher than I was expecting). The additional 3.5 degrees needed is a tall order but if that RH continues to drop there is an outside chance.
