After just one relatively cool day on Sunday, back into the mid 20s here again. Still 25c.
My max temps over the last 10 days:
26.4
26.7
28.9
30.9
31.1
30.8
29.1
19.0
25.6
26.0
And tomorrow is to be warmer yet again.
East Galway, Ireland.
Liking the look of this ECM chart for Sunday, Leeds the national hotspot.
One thing about this spell - we have water heating solar panels on the garage roof and the boiler has not fired up for around four weeks now - so we are saving a fortune in heating oil and reducing our greenhouse gas footprint in the process.
As forecast, no cloud has reached this area and it’s yet another very warm sunny day.
Currently 22C/9C
ICON shows the cloud clearing by about 1pm here, but I'm still doubtful.
AROME shows it clearing by midday.
Guess we'll see.

Seem to be a bit on the high side to me. Are the uppers really conducive to such values?

Best performing model in my books during this peak was HIRLAM. Both Harmonie and Apegge overestimated the potential temps, while the global models ECM and GFS underestimated them, and with the latter, by as much as 5 to 6c.
Final hotspot for yesterday was Giants Causeway with 29.1C
Current conditions (personal WS)
28.0c max at Markee Castle (Connacht) yesterday.
Edit, that should read Mt. Dillon and not Markee Castle.
Yet another gorgeous start here. It's not often we record 20C at 8am, but today is that day!
Last night was a tad uncomfortable to say the least.
A muggy morning here. Cloudy again, but warmer than yesterday. Feels like rain in the offing.

What a bizarre reason for rejecting the reading. How on earth would a car parked near the station have that much effect? Yet Heathrow readings are acceptable despite planes spewing out garbage onto that all day long. Not to mention the junk readings from Brogdale which are excessively sheltered yet allowed to stand.

Sounds to me as though, this is just one example of the so-called "UK" Met Office, really just being the "English" Met Office.
Hotspot yesterday was Coton-in-the-Elms with 31.2C
Similar highs likely today as ARPEGE only just squeezes out 30C to the west of London

Hotter tomorrow with 33C expected
The model still wants to reach 34C quite widely across the central south on Sunday as it has done for the past couple of days
Slightly less hot on Monday with 32C
The long range forecast last night still suggested that after some slightly cooler temperatures in the middle of next week it will turn very hot again towards next weekend. Staying dry throughout.
