Similar here, max of 21.6C with some sun at times but a lot of cloud. Now cloudy at 19.8C and getting rather breezy. My early morning report tomorrow will be quite different from my recent ones!

I know that both you and Caz are usually the two early birds on these threads and since I'm always fascinated by the fact that there are some mornings when you will post first and other mornings where it will be Caz who posts first, I always look forward every day to seeing which of you will post on that particular day although I always look forward to seeing what both of you are reporting at that time.
It has been quite windy this evening with maximum gusts of up to 31.1mph from the SSW during these evening with even stronger winds forecast for tomorrow when we are expected to experience the biggest impacts here from Storm Hector in terms of the wind. There has also been quite a lot of rain showing up on the radar maps to the extent that we are more or less surrounded by it here in Edinburgh. Yet, that just keeps on breaking up when it gets anywhere near here with just little bits and drabs getting through to here at times which aren't even enough to wet the ground.
That in turn leaves with just that same old soul destroying and depressing grey nothingness and permacast hell which we have been experiencing all too often recently, and it is the fact that it has been such a long time ago since anything remotely interesting in terms of our weather actually happened in this part of the world, that I have become so sick and tired of now.
In the end, that has left us with a rather disappointing final total of just 3.3 hours of sunshine being recorded for today at Edinburgh Gogarbank with nothing at all on that front since 1pm this afternoon.
Those dribs and drabs of light rain which we have been around have around have also resulted in just 0.2 mm (which wouldn't even be enough to officially end a drought if we were in one) of rain being recorded so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 9pm this evening, and nothing at all at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
Meanwhile, the temperature at 9pm this evening was 14.4ºC at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 15ºC at Edinburgh Airport and 15.2ºC at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
