Last night was our warmest night of this year so far with an overnight minimum temperature of 14.1°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank. This morning then started off on a fairly bright note here in Edinburgh, but it has now clouded over and it is almost completely overcast just now as I write. Meanwhile, the temperature at 8am BST (07:00 UTC) was around 17°C here in Edinburgh. |
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh. |

Turning out quite a nice morning with decent sunshine amounts. Making the current 20.8 C (80% H) feel pleasantly warm in light winds.
I think there was a smidgen of rain early this morning but I was still asleep at the time and noticed a damp patch on my front door porch roof when I woke up, but my rain gauge is still reading 0.0 mm.

Here in Edinburgh, it has taken rather a long time for the Sun to come out, but we have finally got there in the end and so, that has now led to a bright and sunny evening. In addition to that, today is also our warmest day of this year so far with a maximum temperature of 23.4°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank. Meanwhile, the temperature at 7pm BST (18:00 UTC) this evening is still at around 23°C here in Edinburgh. |
