Last night was our warmest night of this year so far with an overnight minimum temperature of 14.1°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

This morning then started off on a fairly bright note here in Edinburgh, but it has now clouded over and it is almost completely overcast just now as I write.

Meanwhile, the temperature at 8am BST (07:00 UTC) was around 17°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Turning out quite a nice morning with decent sunshine amounts. Making the current 20.8 C (80% H) feel pleasantly warm in light winds.

I think there was a smidgen of rain early this morning but I was still asleep at the time and noticed a damp patch on my front door porch roof when I woke up, but my rain gauge is still reading 0.0 mm.

Here in Edinburgh, it has taken rather a long time for the Sun to come out, but we have finally got there in the end and so, that has now led to a bright and sunny evening.

In addition to that, today is also our warmest day of this year so far with a maximum temperature of 23.4°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Meanwhile, the temperature at 7pm BST (18:00 UTC) this evening is still at around 23°C here in Edinburgh.
