The snow stopped after giving a good cover.
1.3c. Humidity 95% Rh. 995.06 hPa.
1C a beautiful sunny morning now after a short spell of rain and even earlier frost of -3C.
With the birdsong I'm even tempted to think that winter's yet to begin.
Low cloud cover, hard frost overnight with temp. now -1.9*C and DP -2.6*C.
Ppn incoming from the SW - will it be snow/sleet/rain? Just have to wait and see

Not even especially cold then...
Got to love that warm sector!
(Light rain, 3.8 / 1.2 here and rising).
Cold rain blowing in a brisk south wind thus making the current 2.3 c feel particularly raw. Oh, wait, I can see a few white splodges.
Sun's breaking through now, washing my famed west-facing hobby room in a warm glow. Gone up to 3.9 c too and the wind has died down.
Currently 1.2c
Hopefully a bit more snow later BUT in the morning the roads are going to be lethal and it was quite apparent people are clueless on the roads in this weather.
One guy was trying to start off in 4th
Snowed here for 30 minutes around 2pm. I was up at the Mont Blanc of east Kent at Paddlesworth where there was a nice little wet snow fall for about an hour 1-2 which accumulated the almighty depth of 0.5cm! A drop down of 70 feet to Hawkinge and there was almost none on the ground. Remarkable, and in the grand scheme of things, somewhat pathetic.
No fresh snow here, mainly sunny day with almost no wind at all. It briefly touched +3C at 2pm, but is already close to -3 before dark.No thaw as it was also -3 until nearly noon so ground very hard.
We've had about 3 inches so far today mostly this morning but its just started snizzling again with the heavier stuff on it's way south. Since Christmas we've had snow falling on at least 8 days and snow on the ground for 5 of those (likely to be there on Monday and Tuesday as well), as opposed to 1 day where there was sleet for an hour in the whole of last winter and it's not even February yet.
Dry and cloudy (despite the radars attempt at humour)Max 2.6CCurrently 1.8C yesterdays snow all gone.
