There is either a hell of a temperature inversion going on or my temperature reading is wrong. All the surfaces are white and I am currently showing-0.4c. I am in a steepish valley but just 1.5miles away RNAS Culdrose is reporting 5c. That’s some contrast.

I wish I could upload a photo. Looking out of the window across the valley the bottom 200ft is thick white in the breaking dawn. Above that line it’s mainly green.

Clear and sunny with a white frost. Strangely the air temperature at Farnborough remained above freezing all night but then dropped to -1.0C on the 9am reading.

Just had our first wintry shower here temp dropped in it as well. A few wet flakes mixed in thats all. Also saw a beautiful mammatus cloud over Exeter Quay after the shower too. I have taken a photo and will share in a bit.

Beautiful sunny day. Some fair weather cumulus appeared this afternoon, but in light winds a lunchtime walk really felt quite pleasant. First signs that the sun is getting stronger. Max of 7.2C.
