Couple of interesting points; the line of fog encroaching much further inland in the middle distance and what looks like a convective element further away to the right of centre.

The video shows an unexpected 'piling up' effect as it hits land then builds up enough to climb the first hills.
Some of the undulations appear to be it following valleys underneath.

The ground is so unusually parched, so unusually early- if you fly any images over the next week, I'd be curious to see what the ground looks like.

A few days ago there was something of a revelation when taking a video hoping to track the line of a waterpipe.

This field has been regularly ploughed since at least the 1850s but Iron Age field boundaries can clearly be seen.
There are more in two adjacent fields but this one shows them best as the more drought resistant clover is growing reasonably well in the little ditches they created round each plot.
They likely date from about 500BC

Just before the rain started two weeks ago, this was revealed - which explains the astonishing  network of fields.
It is thought they only used a few of the fields at any time  to grow beans, oats and rye or barley for their own use.
After three crops the field would be exhausted and left fallow for grazing several years to recover.

The round house enclosure was less obvious previously but can be made ut when you have seen this last shot literally 30 minutes before the rain. Two days later it had practicaly disappeared again and now the fields have their normal green back.

I wondered if one or both oval shapes by the road could be manmade fishponds.
The larger shape left side is just natural different soil type.

A fake one, built as a shooting lodge about 150 years ago, but the site is supposed to have been a Knights Templar preceptory in the middle ages.
