Becoming very wet in the north-west. Turning very mild away from north Scotland.

A risk of gales later in the week.

Have got the CFS Six Month Look-Ahead (JFF) and for one time only we're combining the CFS model with the BCC so it;s America Vs China at 5pm.

Tomorrow I've got the eleventh and penultimate Winter 2017/18 update for you (is going to be a "Solar Special" this week. Also tomorrow I'll have a look at the long range ECMWF and Meteo France seasonal models for Winter 17/18.

Thanks for update Gavin - at Least the Beijing climate center has some cold potential esp in January. Look forward to the winter update tomorrow - How long will this be 1h? :)

BTW What do you think of Eric's statement in his winter forecast for America re the models being wrong and Analog's etc - please fast forward or pause and play around 22:40.
