Overnight rain has now cleared away with the odd sunny interval, although there are a few blustery showers still around.
The result of this is that as at 8am this morning, a total of 6.8 mm of rain has fallen at Edinburgh Gogarbank since 9am yesterday morning along with 5.8 mm at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
It is also still very windy here in Edinburgh, although the wind has actually died down a bit and it is nowhere near as windy as what it was during the night.
Last night's overnight minimum temperature was 4.4°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and 4.8°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
Meanwhile, the temperature at 8am this morning was around 6°C here in Edinburgh as our frost-free horror show goes on.
