I would humbly suggest Woodward and his fellow buffoons look elsewhere.

Phew, United finally drawn away from home in the FA Cup meaning I don't have to be forced to buy the ticket!

I can understand you being desperate not to have to watch Man U under Maureen, but I thought things had improved under Olleh.

And the 'security' at Stamford Bridge aren't the nicest, either:

Thank God for VAR. The penalty wouldn't have been given had Harry Kane been wrongly ruled offside, if VAR wasn't available.

Very lucky 1-0 win for Spurs.  They also won the yellow card count with some abysmal cynical fouls.

The Chavs probably deserved a draw based on their second half performance, but TBH it was one one of the Spurs backline's easier nights, given 'Sarri Ball' seems to be all about possession in the midfield, then playing out wide, then crossing the ball over to no-one in particular.

I doubt Chelsea would have scored if the game went into next week.

BTW: Hazard is totally wasted at Chelsea, both in terms of the players around him and the tactics employed by his manager.

P.S. Hudson-Odoi is a good prospect. He'll do well at Bayern.

From the report in the Times today, just to emphasise that every club has its minority of idiots.

It took less than two minutes for chants of the Y-word to be heard at Wembley last night. More significantly, it came from a small minority of Spurs fans

Nothing to do with 'Sarri ball' and everything to do with not having a striker in good form. As you well know.

Hazard is no more wasted at Chelsea than Kane is at Spurs. He's playing out of position, which is a direct result of the previous point. again, as you well know.

Yes, Hudson-Odoi is a good prospect and I'm hoping he'll get more first team games and be persuaded to sign a new contract. Otherwise the economics dictate that he'll be sold. £35 million reputedly.

Ask yourself why Hudson-Odoi should sign a new contract now that the Chavs have signed Pulisic. It doesn't make sense for him.

He has a better chance of getting into the Bayern team - given that team is currently in a 'down' cycle, due to some of its players being well past their sell by date.

I can see this going the same way as Sancho leaving City for Dortmund - an absolute masterstroke on Sancho's part.

It's also worth noting that moving to Stamford Bridge was a no-brainer for Pulisic since he was finding it increasingly difficult getting into the Dortmund team due to the arrival of...er...Sancho.

Citeh fans w***ing themselves silly about their financially-doped club beating a tier-3 team 9-0.

I couldn't be arsed what the score is, apart from it'll allow them to rest more players for the second leg. And that there were no injuries.

In fact, Citeh fans are fast becoming the most annoying cretins in football.

FFS, they're an artificial creation, a PR tool for a bunch of crooked, human rights abusing, misogynist dictators. Their achievements will always be tainted by their financial doping. They're not a 'real club' like Liverpool or Man U or Arsenal or Spurs, who've grown through organic development.

Poor from Woolwich as Wet Spam win 1-0.

T.B.H. Woolwich didn't provide a goal threat for most of the match.

Either it's going to be squeaky time from now till May or we'll Spurs it up before then.

Another penalty to Salah. All have been penalties (one of them 'technically' so), but he never got given a single one last year, staying on his feet each foul and always the ref not giving it. Lately he seems to have taken the decision that he's sick of being fouled in the box and denied a clear scoring chance by the foul, so he'll go down.

I think it'll begin to work against him from a reffing perspective and he won't get genuine pens given, but perhaps defenders might now be a little more reluctant to foul him.

Title is yours to loose. Today's kind of game are a grind it out job - my only concern would be that Klopp goes too defensive in the away games in the run-in if you're still 3 to 6 points ahead. Got to play to your attacking strengths, because Citeh will be be going all out from here on in - I suspect they've had their blip now.

Yes Citeh will relish being the chasers and despite Liverpool's lead I'd say it is 50/50 now.

Liverpool concerned me today. Brighton are a well-drilled side yes, but it took a mistake from Gross to gift Salah his penalty, otherwise Liverpool didn't have many clear-cut chances and I agree that Klopp would be wrong to go defensive as the frontrunners. They've got to play with the same freedom and verve that has seen them build up this lead.
