The record for the hightest rolling 12 month CET has just gone.

The period May 2006 to April 2007 of 11.66C has held that record for the last 19+ years but October 2025 to September 2026 has just smashed it at 11.85C

October 2026 needs to come in higher than 11.2C to make further increases to the record which looks to be heading inexorably to over 12C in the not too distant future

Congratulations to Redmoons on a cracking victory this month; with a margin of error of just 0.02c it's enough to put them on the podium of the overall leader board. A virtual bottle of bubbly is on its way to you!

There's quite a bit of movement in the Leader board this month as most guessed to low - Windywillow knocks Jemblow off the top spot which they've held since May and RickM continues their climb. October is all up in the air so who knows where the competition will finish up - any of the top 5 could easily finish in gold medal position and a podium finish is definitely up for grabs amongst the top 10. Good luck all!
