First bluebell seen in flower today (and it was a wild plant of the English sub-species). This is about 3-4 weeks earlier than usual, and there's only one year when I've seen earlier. Mind you, the one I 've just seen was fully out, so if I'd walked that way two days ago, I'd probably have broken the 2016 record.

First bluebells 26/3/07, 26/3/08, 20/4/10, 29/3/11, 14/3/12, 24/4/13, 9/4/14, 12/4/15, 27/2/16, 21/3/17, 11/4/18, 21/3/19, lockdowns 20 & 21, 25/3/22 , 1/4/23, 24/3/24, 2/4/25, 28/2/26,

All recorded in Sussex near Chichester, but at various locations.

My daffodils have flowered in the last couple of days adding a welcome touch of colour to the garden.

Not seeing much sign of growth around here, but when out in the front garden yesterday late afternoon to cut back some hedges before they start take over the garden  once they spurt into growth, there was a real, felt heat from the sun on my face and arms from the low, watery sun, despite temps only being around 7c at the time.
