There was a brief, moderate spell of snow an hour ago, pass over this way. Just not enough, the ground is now nicely damp.

You have to admit in recent years most snow possibilities have ended up being watered down or non-events. I think this has ben one of those rare events that have exceeded expectations, even in the north. 😀

Is there a rain report  thread cause that’s exactly what we have in Peterborough. -1 dew points and fairly heavy rain.

16 mm of rain has fallen so far this morning here at Folkestone harbour after having got woken up by thunder early this morning.

If it was just a degree or two colder, it would be 6 inches of snow by now but temps has risen to 2.9 C & 2 C DP. It has fallen as snow over high ground but apparently now back to as rain.

What a waste of the perfect Kent Clipper set up, seem to have been the same story in this kind of set up in the past few Winters. Attitude and dewpoints being key.
