Dry but overcast and misty making the current 19.9 C C & high-80% H feel more hideously swampy than it needs to be, it has been trying ever so hard to brighten up at times.

Looks like a good chance of decent & much needed rain on Saturday.

21.0c with full cloud but rather thin cloud so some brightness.

23.2c currently with a DP of 21c, it sure feels muggy.

We've had 2mm today from showers so far.

Oppressive, stifling, airless - cruddy. All of those adjectives would describe today perfectly!

Been in Bridgetown for a few days now and the weather doesn’t change much. Mostly sunny, a bit of a breeze, temperatures 31°C, dewpoint 25°C.

And that's why it's one place you'll never see me visit! 😂

23.9, dew 18.8 here and that's unpleasant enough. 

Don’t worry there are ways to keep cool. If I was working I would probably find it more problematic.

The DP maxed at 21.8c, maybe the 2nd or 3rd highest ever, will have to check...certainly top 5

Heading down to Nottingham tomorrow for the weekend where I'll notice the warmth and humidity. Might even witness a thunderstorm 🙂

Down here in Hawick, none of the forecast rain has materialised and we’ve even continued to get the odd sunny interval right up until sunset although there is a lot of cloud around.

This means that if there’s no rain here before 09:00 UTC tomorrow morning, the Swithin’s Day legend will be broken down here for another year.

It’s currently around 17°C here in Hawick, and feeling very humid once again, following on from a high of around 22°C.

It's humid, warm, calm, and there was plenty of dew around earlier on things like plastic bin lids. 17.4, dew 16.4; the overnight low was 16.5 and yesterday's high ended as 27.4.

In the post cold front area here, and the overnight low still didn't falll below 15.2c, and of course, humidity is near 100% and no wind  to shift the air around a bit. Really really tired of this endless swamp like heat now. 

Already feels quite threatening and sultry here at 17C very humid.

We are in highest risk area for storms with 15-25mm likely widely this afternoon, and 60mm possible in some location.
