"I'm not socialist, I know that. I don't believe in sharing my money." - Gary Numan
Glad to hear you enjoyed it, Brian. I had many happy years there in 60s and 70s. My family settled in S Pembs. And later many happy holidays too. 😁

We often pass through Pembrokeshire on our way to and from England and we generally try to stay for a night or two. A lovely part of the world. We stayed in Solva(which I think appears in your photo)for a long weekend last October and visited St. David's itself and that beach in your photo(the name of which I forget!).

We stayed in St David's in 1978 when my wife was convalescing after an operation, and splashed out on a luxury hotel, then called the Warpool Court, with the USP that it grew all the veg served at meals in its own grounds. Alas, it closed and was up for sale at a cool £4m.
The weather was IIRC cooler and fresher!
