I got some convection on my time-lapse yesterday. There were a few showers visible in the distance too:

Tomorrow could be quite lively for a time in the South East.

Lets hope so, the ground is solid down here. If we do, then I suspect we will get surface water flooding.

I've just heard thunder from a cell building near Preston. I don't think anything will fall here though.

Frome's just witnessed their first overhead thunderstorm for quite some time, it was a fairly lively one with some frequent cc lightning and the odd cg, the thunder was loud and crackly so great to listen to, it lasted for around half an hour and gave us some really welcome heavy cold rain so quite refreshing.

Had a proper deluge here, the first this spring which gave a decent fall of rain with overhead lightning and thunder. More than welcome.
