Conclusion
March 2025 was a warmer than average month overall with a below average number of official air frosts.
It was also an exceptionally dry month both in terms of the actual rainfall amounts and in terms of the number of official rain days.
In addition to that, March 2025 was also a sunnier than average month which means that two out of the first three months of this year have now been sunnier than average with February being our only duller than average month so far.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
