As per above on the high cloud, drove my wife to Heathrow this morning and the sunrise almost looked like the Aurora, mostly pinks and reds but with wispy greens mixed in.

A min of 4.1c here, 6.5c now

Max of 19.2c today, glorious!!

Reached about 15C today. Might have been higher if the sun wasn’t obscured by high cloud for most of the day.

Still, a pleasant enough early spring day here.

A high of 17.6°C here with hazy sunshine all day, making it the warmest day of the year so far. It's a beautiful day for the time of year!

It looks like Lakenheath has recorded 21°C this afternoon as well, so that's the first 20°C day of the year for the country as a whole. I take it it's also the earliest 20°C day of the year since 2019.

A repeat of yesterday with good sunny spells and varied high cloud, a peak of 16.3 C at 1.40 pm. Was comfortable enough to sit outside on garden in shorts & shirt for a couple of hours this afternoon. Still clear currently, 10.3 C & high 70% H in light NE breeze.

For whatever reason, Lakenheath isn't an official station.

Still bright in a hazy kind of way and mild at 14.7 C in light winds at 10 am, but seems the change back to default cold and damp isn't too far away.

Misty today, but still (for the time of day) a bit above average, with a light breeze from the NE. 9.8, dew 8.1.

Last night's low was 3.9 and the high yesterday was 13.6. (Alternatively the high was in my living room, as the fumes from the mould cleaner I used - having removed the mantlepiece for carpet fitting tomorrow - made me a bit light-headed!)

Bright and breezy here too, after a very dull start - the radar showed plenty of rain, but thankfully nothing reached the ground. Just as well, as my leather sofa, armchair and computer swivel chair are out on the patio...

7.5, dew 3.5, the high so far being 7.7 and last night's low being 6.1.

While there has been a fair amount of cloud, some half decent bright breaks were had and is still dry. A more fresher-feeling 8.9 C but it's the mid-60% H (3 C DP) and mod NE breeze that are adding a wind chill.

The weather offers a great chance to look a fool!

It's been alternating between overcast and sunny today, with a brisk N'ly breeze and - despite two weak fronts on the radar - it's been dry all day. My neighbour popped round briefly (just after I'd bought the furniture inside - the new carpet having finished being installed) and asked me if it was going to rain, as if so she'd need to get her horses in.

"Doesn't look like it", I said, mindful of the rain-that-wasn't earlier and the low risk of showers on the forecasts. A minute later - "it's started to rain", she said, and then she hurried off.

It was, of course, one of those blink-and-you'll-miss-it type of showers, very local and - unlike the earlier rain - this one made it down to ground level. Oh well, can't win 'em all!
