I've posted some snow pics from my recent visit to Courchevel 1650 in the French Alps. It was the first time I've skied in 8 years and the conditions were mixed. However, huge amounts of snow fell from the middle part of the week and the resort looked just like it does in the brochures.

An excellent adventure by the looks of it. Great pictures.
Puts the Dorset Snowsports Centre down the road from me to shame.

One recommendation for anyone planning a trip: February and March typically have the most snow. Always aim for higher-altitude resorts, as the last 3–5 years have been especially poor for snow conditions.

My criteria for a resort is that it should be at least 1,800m in altitude—especially if you're going at the start of the season. In France, in particular, lower resorts can be at high risk of rain.

Enjoy your trip!
