Strange green cloud being picked up just off coast of Iceland in recent visible satellite.

Strong solar storm currently happening so I'm wondering if it could be Aurora related.

Could it be a reflection off the aurorae?

There was a nice display here last night and I think they are still active further north.

This was a nice view for NYE from home. https://i.ibb.co/bPJPPd6/IMG-8764.jpg

Nothing green showing up on the Meteoblue satellite, but perhaps they use a different colour scheme.

Could it not be a result of a surfeit of sprouts over the festive period?

Or maybe the remnants of volcanic gases from the recent eruptions over Iceland?

From what I’ve read green tinged clouds are associated with fine ice crystals  that are flat and refract the light in a greenish hue.
