Like the member 'Global Warming' before him, JMM2005 (Justin) just stopped logging in mid-comp. Frank H once again brilliantly stepped into the breach to run the final few months, and we're very much in his debt as this is the second time he's very kindly done this. But Frank has done his stint and is unable to continue.
We all hope Justin is OK, first and foremost. But we now need a new member to step forward to run this competition, which has been running for 15 years (plus longer prior to that on an informal basis).
It involves:
1) Starting the comp each month with a brief summary of the average CET and some noteable past CET's for the month.
2) Being PM'd the entries each month by members (there usually starts off with around 25?) and collating these.
3) Producing a table after the month ends, showing the monthly results
4) Keeping a table showing the current year-to-date position for participants and posting this the following month.
People who run this comp enter the pantheon of TWO legends and earn a place in history that generations to come will talk about with admiration and adoration. Perhaps even sing ballads in your honour.
You only need to commit to doing this for 2025. If you want to continue after that, the job is yours. If not, we'll seek another volunteer to take on the task and become immortalised.
So... who will have the courage to step forward and take this amazing opportunity?
