13C with light SW wind off the Channel. Clearish skies as far as I can see at the moment as it's only just getting light.

Last night's fog has lifted and the overnight rain has now cleared away from here.

There is still some cloud around but this morning has got off to a most bright and sunny start.

Last night was exceptionally mild for the time of year (more like what we would typically expect in the middle of summer) with the overnight minimum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank only getting down to 11.7°C.

Currently around 13°C here in Edinburgh.

Dry now after heavy overnight rain. It looks like being a nice, bright and mild day here today. Currently 12.8°C. 27 mm of rain overnight (after another 20 mm yesterday).

Yesterday’s BBC (TV) forecast showed a max of 17 or 18°C here yet this morning’s  showed a high of 15°C. The model output does not seem to have changed so I wonder what has.

17.9c the max today, warmer than yesterday but the dewpoint was lower and we had lost any sense of a tropical feel. Nice day though if not sat at the PC.

Today has been confirmed as our warmest day of this month so far with a maximum temperature of 17.1°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank. That is around a degree higher than what was forecast and despite the fact that this is supposed to be a cooling time of the year, it seems to be warming up again just now.🤢

It has a reasonable day though weather-wise apart from some drizzly rain for a while in the latter part of this afternoon but even that gave us a spectacular rainbow as the Sun shone onto that.

Currently around 12°C here in Edinburgh.

A wet start to the day in Leysdown, and I kept the rain with me most of the way to the wolf centre. What a fantastic day it turned out to be there - copious amounts of warm (but not burning) sunshine, light winds, and a very mellow feel to things. It maxed out at 17C.

Back home in Leysdown it couldn't have been more different - rain for half of the day, with the sun only coming out towards mid afternoon. It still maxed out at 17.2, though, and it's presently 15.8/dew 12.3.

Here's Nuka in the autumn sunshine at the wolf centre.
