A very warm and sticky night here, no wind to speak of, plenty of cloud but no rain and a low of just 17.4. It's already 18.1 and feels 💩, frankly.

Yesterday's high was 26.8.

Another warmer than average day and - as has happened a fair bit recently - the max has been in the evening as the sun beats down.

Currently it's 23.5, dew 15.3, with a max so far of 24.3.

It feels a bit less oppressive, but it's not what I'd call fresh!

Lovely evening now though,  clear skies and bright sunshine. 16.0c , windows open , cooling the house.

23.1c the max today, no breeze so it felt more humid than it was or the dewpoint presented, mowed the lawn and trimmed one hedge and required tshirt #2, a few more bits of gardening and almost #3. A lovely Sunday overall.

The fresher air has finally reached here - it felt lovely out in the garden earlier! It's funny how normal temperatures feel fresh after several steamy days...

Mostly clear blue skies, no wind (as per usual), 14.8 / dew 13.0 after a low of 12.6 earlier.

Yesterday's high was 24.3.

Very much warmer than forecasted and expected today, and compared to yesterday's 23c, a max of 24.8c today and still pretty humid, the evening run wasn't exactly fun.

Still 18.8c now, DP of 15.8c

It was a warm and muggy night last night, and the breeze has gone (funny how often it's dead calm here in the morning during summer).

18.1, dew 16.9, with the low so far being 17.9.

Yesterday's high was 21.8, a degree or so below average.

16.8C light cloud with some breaks.

Yesterday the hill fog here on the Downs was quite remarkable, too; it's not often the cloud base gets below 500 ft, as it did for a while

Mostly cloudy with occasional chinks of brightness. Current temp is 21.8 C & mid 70% H, up on 17 C this time yesterday but there is still something of a refreshing onshore breeze and the lack of sunshine is preventing things from feeling that warm. Certainly not garden chair sitting conditions but comfortable enough for walking through the town in T shirt and shorts.

The hills a couple of miles away were shrouded in mist earlier, but it's already burning off. I'm reminded of the old saying, "mist in the hollow, hot day to follow", and today... well, it won't be hot, but it will be very warm.

Clear blue skies, no wind (the normal summer morning, in other words), 15.4, dew 14.6. The overnight low was a refreshing 12.3, and the high yesterday was a muggy 23.8.
