Conclusion
Overall, a rather disappointing month for a summer month which even delivered a ground frost (something which we didn't even get in May) but the temperatures were very close to the 1991-2020 June average overall.
June 2024 was also a much drier than average month which comes as a very welcome relief after the exceptionally wet spring and it was also our driest month of the year so far.
June 2024 was also much sunnier than of late and it was what will probably end up being our sunniest month of this year but it was still slightly duller than average overall which means that we still haven't had a sunnier than average month here since January even though there weren't any completely sunless days in June.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
