There is a bit of sunshine at times, and even that is something which we've not seen for a long time at this time of the day but even with that, there's still a lot of cloud around as well which never seems to go away these days.
Meanwhile, the temperature is currently around 12°C here in Edinburgh.

My garden thermometers have reached 20 C however which beats yesterday's 19 C and is very acceptable as a late Spring day!

As I write, the temperatures have not yet peaked for today and of course, the official maximum temperature for today will be the same as or higher than that reported figure in the end.
In addition to that, we even have a burst of sunshine here which is something which we don't see very often these days in these parts although today's sunshine total until now still only adds up to a measly 2.1 hours of sunshine at Edinburgh Gogarbank.
May be if the wind turns southerly tomorrow we will see more sunshine 🤔
As John mentioned, we reached 20 C for the first time but it's clouding over again with an annoying west wind.

As per usual, given I work a lot with the US, I left the office at 2 back for some calls and more work, but nice to have the door open again.

As yet, this still isn't enough to give us our first 70+°F temperature of the year but that is forecast to happen over the next few days.
In addition to that, the Sun has broken through a bit more over the latter part of this afternoon and into this evening although there is still quite a bit of cloud around (as there always is here, of course).
Meanwhile, the temperature here in Edinburgh has now dropped back to around 16°C although there is already a much muggier feel about the air.

Currently around 13°C here in Edinburgh although our temperature is forecast to reach the low 20s°C later on which would once again, make today our warmest day of the year so far, possibly even with our first 70+°F maximum of the year.
